Calculator Tutor Software - A great tool for students who struggle to use a calculator. The Calculator Tutor software features a large on-screen talking calculator and exercises that vary in complexity. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and decimals are covered. A hint feature helps the novice learner. A quiz option with scoring reports lets you keep track of student progress.
Dollars & Cents Software - Three beautifully illustrated interactive money programs on one money saving CD! Includes the intro level First Money, which identifies money names and values, Spending Money, where the user goes from store to store to buy things on a shopping list, and Making Change, our most advanced money program where the user is a store clerk.
Number Station - Explore patterns of numbers by inserting "tokens" into vacant slots in an on-screen number board. Students count by ones, twos, fives and tens and progress to using addition and subtraction to solve more complex patterns. Learning units are presented in three difficulty levels. After students achieve proficiency at one level, the program automatically progresses to the next. Includes a Learning Mode where students can ask for hints, and a Quiz Mode without hints. Based on NCTM Standards. Keeps performance records for every student for all activities in both modes.
Making Change Software - Making Change is Attainment's most advanced level money software program. Revised with new money graphics and scanning capabilities. Users function like a store clerk, entering purchases and giving back change. The program randomly generates hundreds of purchasing situations, each time showing an amount due for the purchase. Students then count money given for payment and enter the value on the keypad. The "cash register" then shows the change due. The "cash drawer" appears and the user gives back change, just like a store clerk.
MatchTime Software - MatchTime features a programmed learning approach for students who struggle with time concepts. Four progressively difficult levels each provide a pre-set sequence of multiple choice matching exercises. Students simply find the clock that matches the large sample clock in Levels 1 through 3. Level 4 introduces the concepts of earlier and later. Extensive record keeping tracks student progress.
First Money Software - Our most basic money program, newly revised with better graphics, scanning capabilities and better record keeping. First Money is the first step in independent money skills.
Math Master - Use this fun-filled game to learn basic counting skills, addition and subtraction.
Spending Money Software - Spending Money features great money graphics with options for US or Canadian currency, scanning capabilities and options for automatic or instructor-selected shopping lists.
Show Me Math - Show Me Math is for students who do not understand the basic relationship between computation and concrete representation. Focuses on the four operations of arithmetic: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using no number greater than twenty. Each math problem is illustrated with an animated movie. Assessments evaluate student progress with detailed record keeping to help you write IEPs. The instructional module helps students visualize math problems. Users can select answers on the keyboard, or by clicking on a number . . . or the student can choose the Show Me! option, where the answer is illustrated with a short animated movie. For example, 3+ 4 = 7: 3 ping-pong balls appear, 4 more come bouncing in, for a total of 7. Choose from four animated characters; sheep, ants, beans and ping-pong balls. Show Me Math is appropriate for any age.
